About

pornblocked tracks where porn sites are blocked or age-gated, and why: the laws, the courts and what the platforms do in response.

Searching for this today mostly turns up pages selling VPNs, with counts that disagree with each other. We built a reference that answers the question directly, shows its sources and says when it was last checked.

Who publishes it

pornblocked.com is published by Quicker Media Inc., which also operates Quickie, a subscription video app for adults. We say this plainly because you should know who is behind a source before you rely on it.

What that means in practice:

• Quickie appears on this site only in ads, and every ad is labelled "Ad".
• Ads never appear in answers, tables, maps, the downloadable data or the embeddable map.
• Every status follows the published methodology and links to its sources, so you can check it yourself.

The site is written and maintained by the Editorial Team.
